:I had 2 sets of heads, one that came off my motor(1991), and one I
:bought from another member on a local forum. They are NA heads but
:that's not the issue here.
:It appears I'm missing one of the camshaft caps off of the set of heads I
:bought, Ive searched high and low(ziplock they were in broke) and I
:haven't came across it. However I have my other camshaft caps but they
:are not numbered nor do they have ID bumps on the top of them.
:Would it hurt to use the non numbered, smooth cap vs, the matching
:numbered, brail looking ID cap?
:I don't want to mismatch, I know components wear in a certain way, but
:I didn't know if it could hurt anything here cause I really can't fin that
:other cap.
You could use caps from another head IF you had it Line Bored...
